Just for fun
Sometimes you have to take a step back and do a little piece just for fun. My son offered to design a quilt for me, and I asked him to do it in purple and yellow, in preparation for a big piece I will be working on soon. He drew this picture and cut it out, and I turned it into a little mini-quilt. He was thrilled with it, and it has been to bed with him every night since. Don’t look too closely at the quilting! I made a fleece backing and used the “inside out” binding-less technique.
My son the designer!
