Naan-ish Bread
Recently I realized that I could make naan bread. I’m not promising authentic naan, but I think this is far better than the packages you can buy in the store. The only downside is that it is a serial process, you make them one a time. That means the cook gets to the table after everyone started eating. I think that these breads are worth the sacrifice. Yum, fresh naan!
Naan Bread

2 1/4 tsp baking powder

Add oil
Slowly add water
Stir until mixed
Knead until smooth, adding water and flour as necessary
Wrap in plastic wrap
Sit 10 minutes
Cut into 6 pieces
Roll out individually as you fry, one at a time
Brush veg oil on hot pan
Fry a few minutes per side until lightly browned
