Quilt in a Day or So

I took a class at the Galway Quilt Show from Eleanor Burns, of “Quilt in a Day” fame. I found her warm, fun, and very inspirational. It was a 3 hour class, and we had packets of pre-cut material to sew this Braid pattern. I enjoyed the class and appreciated the straightforward, clear instructions. I nearly finished sewing the braids together in class – you sew the three braids at the same time. I didn’t touch a sewing machine the entire summer, but I did come back to it and put the entire quilt top together in another few hours. I am very pleased with the results, even though the fabrics are wild and nothing I would have selected on my own!
