Suspended Jellies

My quilt “Suspended Jellies” appeared in the Irish International Quilt Show. It’s a whimsical piece inspired by jellyfish who seem to float in the water and Calder mobiles which have a similar floating quality. I used a wire coat hanger which I quilted, then I hung four individual fabric jellyfish with invisible thread. I’m pleased with the effect, and thrilled with the placement near an open door so they could move in the breeze. Thank you for the hard work of the staff and volunteers that made the Irish International Quilt Show in Galway a huge success!
