Purple Leaves

I call this Purple Leaves but it is a piece out of a beautiful mobius band project by my brilliant teacher Diane Herrmann.   She calls it “Color Wheel With a Twist” and stitched leaves using a progression of colors from the color wheel.

I enjoyed this piece, the original design had a yellow butterfly but I instead put in a spider that I designed with a bit of guidance from Diane.   I’m very happy with how it came out.
